Ride by Shooting on Summit Road, Old Mt Madonna Road, CA. And you know you’re at the summit because there’s a giant tree. What better way to show scale than by putting Baby at the base.
About 10 miles out of Walden, CO on my ride across America. I’m slowly writing the book about the trip - too slow for some people, judging the by emails I get - and doing rough drafts online. It’s a long read, but you can just look at the pictures if ya want. Went through Byers Canyon this day, and ate a fantastic Second Breakfast at… The Glory Hole!

Believe it or not, this is in the middle of a climb. I decided to stick my tongue out, to show I was fine. But I guess I took the outside line on this corner, BECAUSE IT LOOKS FRIGGIN’ FLAT AS AN IRONING BOARD. Still, this turned out way better than I thought it would I stuck my tongue out and they took the photo and I spent the rest of the climb thinking “Why did you do that? That was so stupid.” But IT’S AWESOME!
